    Terms of Service

    Last updated October 28, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and TripTraverse. They cover what you can expect from us, what we need from you, and how plans and billing work. We've kept them as short and as plain as we can. Please read them, because by creating an account or using the service you're agreeing to them.

    Who we are

TripTraverse LLC, 2014 N Saginaw Rd #1010, Midland, MI 48640, United States. These terms apply to the TripTraverse service: the web app at triptraverse.app, the TripTraverse mobile app, and this website, gotriptraverse.com. For anything about these terms, contact privacy@gotriptraverse.com. For anything else, hello@gotriptraverse.com.

    Who can use TripTraverse

You need to be at least 13 years old to use TripTraverse, or at least 16 if you're in the EU or UK. If you're using the service on behalf of a company, you're confirming you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

    Your account

    • Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.
    • You're responsible for the accuracy of what you put into TripTraverse: dates, times, confirmation numbers and costs. We organize what you give us; we don't verify it.

    Plans, trial and billing

TripTraverse has a Free plan with usage limits, and a paid subscription called TripTraverse Plus. What each plan includes, and what it costs, is shown on our pricing page and at checkout.

    Your free trial

Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial of Plus, with no card required. When the trial ends, nothing is charged, and you then move to the Free plan unless you choose to subscribe.

    Subscriptions

    • Plus is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars (USD), at the price shown at checkout, and renews automatically for the same period until you cancel.
    • Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details never reach TripTraverse. We only receive a customer reference and your subscription status.
    • You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Plus access until then.

    Fair use

Plus allowances are unlimited for ordinary use. A fair-use guard of 300 per month on each allowance protects the service, and the app tells you if you meet it.

    Refunds

Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. That's why the 7-day trial and the Free plan exist: you can use TripTraverse properly, with your own trips, before you pay anything.

If you think a charge is wrong, email hello@gotriptraverse.com first so we can check it with you before you raise a dispute with your bank.

    Price changes

If the price of Plus changes, we tell you before any renewal at the new price, and you can cancel before then.

If you move to the Free plan

Moving to the Free plan never deletes your content. Losing Plus takes away nothing that exists: a role already given stays, a link already made keeps working, documents and photos over a limit stay, and templates stay. Only adding and changing what Plus gates stops. When Plus or the trial ends, your trips stay editable for 30 days. After that, the Free plan keeps 2 active trips editable and the rest become read-only until you upgrade again or delete a trip to get back under the limit. Nothing is deleted because of a downgrade or an expired trial.

    Your content

Your trips, documents, photos, notes and journal entries remain yours. You give us the permission we need to host, process and display that content solely to operate the service for you: for example, storing a booking confirmation, extracting its details and showing it back to you on your itinerary. We don't use it for anything else.

You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including anything that belongs to someone else.

    AI features

AI output can be wrong. Booking details extracted from documents and emails, and any planning suggestions the service makes, may be incomplete or incorrect. Always check them against your original confirmation before relying on them. TripTraverse is not a booking agent or travel agency: we don't make, hold or guarantee your reservations, and we don't guarantee availability, pricing, visa or entry requirements, or travel advisories.

Nothing in the service is professional advice. TripTraverse does not give legal, medical, immigration, financial or insurance advice. For those, please talk to someone qualified.

    Acceptable use

    While using TripTraverse, please don't:

    • Use the service for anything unlawful
    • Interfere with the service or place an unreasonable load on it
    • Scrape or harvest it with automated tools
    • Reverse engineer, decompile or copy how it works
    • Resell or redistribute access to it
    • Work around plan limits, usage caps or access controls
    • Upload content you don't have the right to share

    Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. Your account and everything in it are deleted at once, as our Privacy Policy sets out: backups are purged within 90 days, and billing records are kept for 7 years by our payment processor, as the law requires. Deleting your account ends any subscription at once, and nothing is refunded for the current billing period.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Where it's practicable we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

    Disclaimers

TripTraverse is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Travel decisions (what you book, when you leave, which documents you carry) are yours, as are their consequences.

    Liability

To the extent the law allows, TripTraverse's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as missed connections, lost bookings, lost profits or lost data.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer law, including in the EU and UK, that can't be limited or excluded by agreement.

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, and disputes belong to the courts there. If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can bring proceedings there.

    Privacy

How we handle your personal information (what we collect, who processes it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it) is set out in our Privacy Policy.

    Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we'll tell you by email or in the app. Continuing to use TripTraverse after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
