The Free plan is free and covers real trip planning. Plus is $9.99 per month or $89 per year and unlocks unlimited trips, documents, photos, and AI features. Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial of Plus, with no credit card required.

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. The 7-day Plus trial starts automatically when you create an account, with no card on file. When it ends, nothing is charged, and you then move to the Free plan unless you choose to upgrade to Plus.

How does importing bookings from email work?

Accepted Answer

Forward a booking confirmation to the forwarding address shown on your Inbox page, from the email address on your TripTraverse account (or another sender address you've verified in settings). The details (dates, confirmation numbers, addresses) are extracted automatically and become an item on your trip. The Free plan includes 5 imports per month, shared between forwarded emails and uploaded confirmations; Plus makes them unlimited.

Can I import PDFs or screenshots?

Yes. Upload a confirmation PDF or screenshot to your trip and the details are parsed into a trip item, the same way email forwarding works. An upload counts as an import, one of the Free plan's 5 imports per month, the same allowance forwarded emails use. Choosing Read document on a file you have attached counts as a document read instead, 5 per month on Free. Plus makes both unlimited.

What does the AI Planner do?

You chat in plain English to brainstorm destinations, activities, and restaurants, then save suggestions you like straight to your itinerary as unbooked placeholders to firm up later. The Free plan includes 10 planner questions and 5 destination suggestions per month; Plus makes both unlimited.

Do the free AI allowances reset every month?

Yes. On the Free plan every AI allowance starts again on the first day of each calendar month, counted in UTC: 10 planner questions, and 5 each of imports, document reads, website reads, and destination suggestions. The 7-day trial has its own larger allowances for its 7 days, and Plus removes the caps entirely.

Can I track costs in different currencies?

Yes. Costs on stays, transport, and activities can be logged in different currencies, and the trip's expense views keep a running picture of what you're spending.

Can I share a trip with family and friends?

Every plan can share a read-only view of the itinerary by link, which needs no account to view, and can export and print the full itinerary. Plus adds password protection for shared links and sending the itinerary to specific email recipients.

What is the Safety Report?

A Plus feature that generates a privacy-filtered version of your trip for the people back home: it shows where you are and when, while costs, private notes, and other sensitive details are excluded by design. Share a trip report with family that shows where you are, without showing what you paid.

Can travel companions help plan the trip?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as much or as little as you like. Add travelers to a trip on any plan and assign them to specific bookings and activities, then give a companion access by email or invite link so the trip opens in their own TripTraverse account. Can view, free on every plan, lets them read the itinerary and complete the tasks you assign them. Can suggest lets them pin ideas, comment and suggest items or send in their own bookings for you to accept or decline, and Can edit lets them change the plan with you; offering those two needs Plus. Travelers, access and deleting the trip stay with you.

What is the refund policy?

Except where the law requires otherwise, we don't offer refunds. Instead, we make sure you never have to buy blind: every new account gets a 7-day free trial of Plus with no card required, and the Free plan costs nothing. If you cancel your Plus plan, it stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

How do I cancel or change my plan?

You can switch between monthly and yearly billing or cancel at any time. When you cancel, Plus stays active until the end of the paid period, and your account then moves to the Free plan. Your data is never deleted when your plan changes. If you're over a Free limit, everything you have stays, and only adding more past the cap stops.

How is my data handled?

Your trips are yours: we don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Site analytics set no cookies in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and only first-party cookies for traffic measurement elsewhere, never for advertising.
